Mini Sessions
Mini sessions are up to 20/30 minutes in length, immediate family members only & take place outdoors at a location in the Highland area. Themed minis, such as Christmas, are offered on specific dates throughout the year. Minis range in price from $225 to $275 depending on type.
Standard Session
Standard sessions are up to 60 minutes in length, immediate family members only & include travel up to 30 miles from Highland. Standard sessions are $450 per hour.
Extended Family Session
Extended family sessions include grandparents, aunt & uncles, cousins, etc. These session range between 60 - 90 minutes in length, are outdoor only & include travel up to 30 miles from Highland & flash drive for grandma & grandpa. Extended family sessions are $550 for 60 minutes or $625 for 90 minutes.
High School Senior Sessions
offer three different senior options.
1 hour = $500
2 hours = $800
3 hours = $1000
JKD seniors are highly encouraged to incorporate their hobbies/interests, sports, extracurricular activities, etc into their senior sessions. These sessions are meant to capture them & showcase who they are & what they love at this milestone in their life. My goal is to create a relaxed, upbeat, & fun session tailored to who they are & what they are all about. Sessions that are multiple hours in length can & are encouraged to be split between seasons and/or sports/interests and none. Senior sessions take place at multiple locations within 30 minutes from Highland. Travel to Dubuque, Madison, PDC and beyond is an option with paid travel fee.
Baby's First Year
Newborn Sessions
Newborn session is $600 for up to 2 hours. Newborn sessions take place in my clients home & can either be studio style, lifestyle or a mixture of both (most choose studio style for baby by themselves & lifestyle for family/sibling). Newborn sessions can also take place outdoors, weather permitting. I prefer to photograph my babies within the first 2 weeks after birth. Appointment can be made ahead of time if scheduled c-section or you may contact me after baby arrives. In order to ensure your newborn session with me a nonrefundable retainer must be paid for due date to be added to my calendar.
I also offer packages that offer savings.
Grow with Me Gold Includes newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months & 1 year. 3/6/9/1 year sessions are 1 hour.
Grow with Me Silver Includes newborn, 6 months & 1 year. 6 months & 1 year are 1 hour.
mini maternity session can be added to any package for 1/2 price
Wedding Photography
After several years, many incredible couples that I'm honored to now call friends, and a lot of thought JKD Photography is no longer actively photographing weddings. I don't want to detour you from reaching out because it's always an option (I took on 3 in 2022), however very limited.
